LAWRENCE COUNTY’S NEW ELECTION COMMISSION OFFICE

This week marked the recognition of the new Election Commission building and its new location. The facility has been prepared to better serve the citizens of Lawrence County and support the work of the Election Commission.
 
Several County Commissioners, Election Commission Board members, and other local elected officials were in attendance to show their support.

Lawrence County Executive David Morgan and Chamber CEO Ryan Egly

Chamber of Commerce CEO Ryan Egly offered brief remarks, followed by Lawrence County Executive David Morgan, who spoke on the importance of the project, the efforts behind its completion, and expressed appreciation to the County Commission for their support in making it possible.
 
Special recognition was given to the Lawrence County Maintenance Department for their work in preparing the building under the leadership of Maintenance Director Mark Brewer, as well as the support and approval of the Lawrence County Commission.
Election Commission Director Tanya White delivered remarks and expressed appreciation to everyone who played a role in making the project possible.

Early voting for the 2026 Republican Primary Election is April 15 through April 30.
