On May 7, 2026, the Lawrence County community gathered at the Courthouse to participate in and celebrate the National Day of Prayer.
County Executive David Morgan led the event in prayer alongside Chad Clanton, Richard Clinard, Jeanne Modisette, Spencer Tyree, Tommy Lee Kidd, Sheldon Tyree, JD Bosheers, Steve Inman, Jacob Evans, and John Horne.
Together, prayers were lifted for several important areas, including family, the church, education, the next generation, the judicial system, business, first responders, and local, state, and federal government.
This was a special moment as our community came together in unity—as one county under God
